Our Battery Anode Materials solution relies on the Tokai Carbon Japan experience with its research and development department in Mount Fuji combined with the innovation skills of our Vénissieux R&D centre. Thanks to our particularly efficient processes and the use of raw materials available in large quantities and from sustainable sources, we offer a unique technical solution for ultra-low CO2 batteries, respectful of the environment and socially responsible.

Tokai COBEX’s production is particularly innovative using the most advanced processes and best available technologies for environment protection. Energy consumption is reduced by more than 50 % and is based on an energy mix with one of the lowest CO2 contents worldwide. The raw materials used are sourced in a socially responsible way, with a full chain of custody and the lowest CO2 content available on the market.

We are providing a clean and competitive European source of synthetic and natural graphite for lithium-ion batteries. Our advanced technology is contributing to the independence of the European automotive industry for EVs and gives it an edge over its global competitors.
