A donation instead of a Christmas party

When Dennis Böttjer, CFO of Tokai COBEX, handed over a donation of €7,500 to Anja Eli-Klein, Managing Director of the “Bärenherz” Foundation, on December 16, 2021, he could be sure of the full support of the entire team in Wiesbaden.

The annual Christmas party of Tokai COBEX was supposed to have taken place in Wiesbaden on exactly this 16th of December – but it had to be cancelled due to Corona.

In order to bring something positive out of this unpleasant situation, it was a matter of the heart of the management and the employees to donate the amount of money intended for the Christmas party – and topped up by the management – to a local foundation.

The “Bärenherz” Foundation is a very special organisation that supports institutions for families with terminally ill children, including a children’s hospice in Wiesbaden. During this emotionally difficult phase, parents receive advice, financial, psychological and physical support for the many exhausting challenges facing the relatives of seriously ill children.

The entire Wiesbaden team is deeply impressed about the engagement of the “Bärenherz” Foundation and Dennis Böttjer stated on behalf of the team: “The valuable and difficult work that is done here by all employees day after day, cannot be overestimated. With our donation, we have the opportunity to support this extremely important work and can hopefully contribute a little to alleviating the burdens of those affected and to bring joy to the seriously ill children.”
